The SVCS Academic Contest event group informs you that:

1. Last Sunday 3/31/2019 our school team achieved great success at the ANCCS academic contest.

2. This Friday 4/5/2019 trophies will be ready for pick up and photo session after class.

SVCS Trophies are for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention winners.

Here are the details:

1) Pick up trophies from SVCS Office Rm# 615 @ 7 - 9 pm

2) Pick up art work, brush painting & calligraphy from SVCS Office Rm# 615 @ 7- 9 pm

3) Photo Session with trophy Rm# 701 @ 9 pm

4) ANCCS winners, please bring your trophy for photo session too!

5) RETURN all training materials to SVCS Office RM# 615

3. Students who participated in these AC categories: Drawing, Chinese Painting, Calligraphy, and Penmanship, please come to the office to collect your artwork.

To the parents of Academic Contest winners:

Please carefully check on winners’ names shown on the 2018-19 SVCS Academic Content Final Results and report any typos to the office.  SVCS will order trophies accordingly for the award ceremony in April 2019.

The SVCS Academic Contest event group informs you that:

1. The SVCS Academic Contest on 1/27 was a complete success. A big thank you to all the participants, parents and all the volunteers.

2. Congratulations to all the students who received the awards. Here is the list of all the reward winners. School will give trophies to all the reward winners on April 5th. To the parents of AC winners: please report any discrepancy of student name(s). We will imprint winner’s name on trophy accordingly.

3. First place winner in each category will represent our school to attend the ANCCS (Association of Northern California Chinese Schools) 2019 ANCCS Academic Contest to be held on 3/31 at Mission San Jose High School in Fremont.

1. The annual AC contest for all SVCS students is on January 27th, 2019.

2. Registration for the AC contest is open from November 9, 2018 until December 7, 2018. The fee to attend one event is $5 and the fee for two events is $8.

3. If your registered event is either "Impromptu Speech", "Speech", or "Read Aloud", you may register for practice classes on 12/14, 12/21, 1/11, 1/18 and 1/25/19 from 6-6:50pm. The fee for the training session is $30. Please turn in the fee to the office Room# 615 by 12/14. The classroom where the training will be held will be announced later. Please register online for the class.
