This week is the 8th week of the first semester so we have completed half of the semester, and this week is also our official mid-term exam day of school. This Saturday (September 28th) is Teacher’s Day which is also known as Confucius Day. As a student like you, please do not forget to give your teacher a sincere, grateful hug and a thank you card. September 28th will be the 2569th birthday of Confucius. A Confucius Memorial Ceremony will be held this Sunday 9/22 10am in TECO 100 South Milpitas Blvd., Milpitas, CA 95035. Everyone is welcome to experience the traditional ceremony to memorize the greatest teacher of Chinese history.
This Friday is the Moon Festival Day which is one of the important traditional Chinese holidays, also known as Mid-Autumn Festival. It's on the 15th day of the 8th Lunar month every year and is a traditional day for family reunion under the full moon. There are many Chinese traditions we do on Moon Festival Day such as eating moon cakes, making coloring lantern with whole family together. Wish you all a wonderful Moon Cake Day !!
