Yearbook Cover Contest (Deadline extended to 05/01/2020)

The winning entry will be placed on the front cover and back cover of the yearbook. Please follow the guidelines below and submit your artwork before 05/01/2020

Theme: Lucky Year of Rat. Your artwork should reflect the theme and your learning experience at Chinese school

The contestants will be divided into three groups:

9th grade and above: Your artwork can be created by computer or hand-drawn. For hand-drawn artwork, you may use any medium of your choice, e.g., markers, oil paint, watercolor, etc. or mixed-media.
4th grade to 8th grade: Your artwork can be created by computer or hand-drawn. hand-drawn artwork only (Any medium or mixed-media is OK.)
K to 3rd grade (including CSL): hand-drawn only (Any medium or mixed-media is OK.)

One winner will be selected from each of the three groups.

Paper size: B5; Orientation: Portrait

Do not include Silicon Valley Chinese School logo and do not write “yearbook” or “Silicon Valley Chinese School” on your artwork. Contest entries will be accepted from 2/28/2020 through 05/01/2020. Please submit your entry to the school office (Room101). Remember to write your name and class on the back of your artwork.

To all parents :

If you had ordered hardcopy Yearbook online earlier, it is ready for pick up this Friday.

Please stop by office Room 615 between 7:10 to 8:30 PM to get it.

You can also purchase directly at the office during the same time period. Each hardcopy is priced at $20, both check or cash are accepted.
