Shoes For Life
What’s the solution? Shoes!
95% of children who live by the border of Kenya and
Uganda do not own shoes. They are infected by fleas and
parasites as a result. Giving them shoes is an effective way
of combating infections. Bay Area volunteers are
collecting shoes to send them in the winter 2019!

【Stanford CHIPAO Parenting Workshop】
Parents, if you did not grow up in the U.S., do you find that you have difficulty understanding or communicating with your Americanized high school or middle school child? Please join us for this free, insightful and entertaining workshop to understand how parents can better communicate with their teens and pre-teens on a variety of areas.
Time: Saturday, May 11, 2019, 10am - 1pm
Location: Dougherty Valley High School Common
Misunderstanding and arguments are common between adolescents and parents. Two parties are often struggling over tough topics including school, relationships, cultural identity, academic and personal success, challenging stigma against mental health and many more.
We invite you to join us for a unique interactive opportunity with Stanford University faculty presented by the Stanford CHIPAO (Communication Health Interactive for Parents and Others). Theatric vignette/role playing will be used to illustrate common problems and strategies for having more productive conversations between parents and teens. There will also be a forum for questions and answers.
Culture to Culture Foundation is very honored to be in partnership with the Stanford CHIPAO and the San Ramon Valley Council of PTAs to sponsor this workshop.
Refreshments will be served after the event.

Singing CompetitionWe are hosting a Singing Competition right now, and it's open to students of various ages, including a special group that they can sing American Anthem. Would you mind spreading the information among the students? It's a good opportunity for the students to show off their talents. Since we are also 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and radio, we'd be able to issue them certificates if they need.
